Ok, I'll post today the updated spritesheets in the new palette.
The way I see - with replacing of maroon - biggest problems are:
1. Gnosticons (or whatever they are called) - will now be more brown than red
2. Sunset forest - without the dark red...we can use brown or orange...but still.
Should we keep current orange, or make it more darker? I think current is good in a way to bridge between yellow and brown. |

Where would all these things go, though...
Forest - red head-thrower, three-eyed legger, baby three-eyed legger
Badlands - purple big mouth, trampoline creature
Slug town - slug, baby slug
Swamp - green fire-breather, slime, frog, big frog, double slime
Archaeological site - scorpion, robed archer, bone monster, cyan guy riding on purple beast
Water levels - water snake, turtle
Lick levels - multi-eyed glob, bouncing wavy dude, metallic hoverers
Final levels - purple mage, cyan runner, green bird
Secret levels - janitor bird, Chuck Norris? Tom Hall? Obi-Wan Kenobi? Cthulhu?
Can't think of where anything else would go.
We need Licks!
And multi-colored enemies would be nice. So far lots of them are different shades of the same color.

| The bone monster and the thing with all the springs would fit well into archeological sites, and maybe the green alien mage. |

| A couple more slug town creatures would be good. (Slug on a Bounder?) Also need more water level monsters. (Flying fish? Alien duck? Tree octopus?) |

I love those secret level ideas.
Someone should prolly just make an EPIC MOD featuring those.
Actually, I call that one. It will be terrible, but HILARIOUS. or I will never finish it. |

| That springer item looks interesting. Perhaps it could sproing when shot by an archer or mage, or by keen. It would make an interesting level element. |

Again - each enemy can be recolored to fit specific theme and role.... There is no need to automatically classify green monsters for swamp/slime, red - for badlands etc...
So look at his type of movement, attack....general shape and theme.

Yes...not multishading - but areas of different color.... Can even recolor some of the existing ones if you want...at least give them a look...

Slime: the thing with the version of it with eyes, and the version of it without eyes.
Double slime: the thing that looks like two balls, each of which can grow or shrink. |

Post 222...heh :)
And?...Therefore doesn't fit?
I didn't make it in Arachnut in mind....nor Garg actually...I make a monster - and the "pen" flows....just the way it flows...it can reseble some monster....so what? It's different color, with claws etc...and looks unique enouph to me. It can be stunned like Arachnut, with re-surrection...that' a good idea actually |
