maybe drippy sludge hazards too... oh well that's episode 2.

Slopified some earlier tiles... 45 and 22.5 degrees. Also this other dirt style seems to have been left out from the tileset.

Love that background.

The top platform theme looks great. I vote it becomes the official midday theme.

I second that. It's very nice.

As a side note, are we going to patch the palette?

I've never liked the palette patch. It takes away from the Keenish-ness of the mod.

The only colour I wouldn't mind patching is that dark reddish brown....it isn't very "natural" because it's just a little too red.

I think it could be patched to a sandy yellow (FFAA00 or FFAA55) which would be way better for a tropical theme. It would also be a good brown/yellow dither intermediate. Another option would be to introduce mauve (5555AA), as this would be a good nighttime colour.

Maybe change bright red from FF5555 to the more intermediate FF0000 to compensate for the loss of dark red.

I think we've done too many tiles already for a complete palette patch...

Anyways, here's more stuff.... arg I can't draw bluffs well.

Sounds good... but what do we do with the bottom one then?

Tiles like these make me wonder why I switched to a 2.5D perspective in my mods.

There were discussions of ice caves for episode 2, we could save those tiles for that purpose.

Where are the discussions? Who is in the project team anyway? Who is mapping, who is coding, who does the art, the music?
I'm still new here so....

The ice cave stuff is here. The team was never officially organized, the closest thing to that is here. So each of us is occasionally contributing something, but work hasn't been divided into sections for different people to handle.
