Set chomper to kill , and leaves to blocking from above. This plant can hang or grow from the ground but it needs a bit of tinkering. The hanging plant is supposed to be wrapping its vine around the tree branch, but it doesn't really look like it. http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/1045/leafyvines.p...

Forest Level

http://rapidshare.com/files/256615850/stuff.zip.html Well here is a possibility: Keen starts on the forest floor and works up to the exit, in the treetops. In the next level, keen could start in the tree tops and work his way on to a plateau, which uses the platforms. I also chose this because I th...

The Light

Where is the light coming from? Top left or top right?

There are various vertical cylinder pieces (tree trunks, logs, and those pipes), but in some cases, the right side is lighter, and in other cases the left hand is brighter.

Fence Tiles Revamped

I redid my fence tiles. made them 1px taller and flattened the tops, redid outline... the night ones look a little better at least. Went from 9 down to 6 tiles too. http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/2658/newfencefinal.png http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7690/newfenceexamples2.png if anyone is interest...

Personally I think stone would be better, just because we have a lot of wooden tiles so far. Speaking of wooden tiles, what happens after lick village and slug village? Are we still going with this grass, dirt, trees theme or something different? From what I understand, Keen ends up in some kind of ...

SGA Tiles

are there going to be standard galactic alphabet tiles?

if yes, are they going to be engraved like the wooden exit sign?

I think you might be able to improve the bridge simply by lowering the water level.

The height of the water makes it look like it is extending 20 miles into the horizon.

Also: Making black outlined pointy things against the dither tile (specifically, two 45 degree diagonals coming together), can give weird effects, because the outline can either line up or not line up with the dither. http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/6452/ditherandtriangles.png I did a little experi...

Picket Fence Tiles

Hi, all. I made some picket fence tiles. 3 of each for 3 different backgrounds (cyan, dither, dark). I think they would work for either a pasture or a suburban setting. But maybe keen doesn't run into that in episode 1. Anyway: The tiles: http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/1741/picketfencetiles.png So...

Hello

Hi, I'm new to modding, and no real programming experience. I took a couple semesters of compsci electives (Java, lol) a few years back. I just downloaded a pile of tools for the vorticons trilogy: modkeen, ckpatch, mindbelt, tileinfo, unlzexe, and the giant index of patches. For my first project I ...
